Access Control Systems
The dictionary defines Access Control as the ability to permit or deny the use of something by someone or something else. Access Control allows companies to permit selected individuals at selected times to access selected doors, while keeping track of who went where and when.
Besides audit tracking, access control alleviates the costly expense of re-keying door locks when an employee leaves the company. Instead, a simple click of the mouse denies access to all doors immediately. As an organization expands, this database of access can expand between multiple facilities, giving key authorized individuals knowledge of an employee’s whereabouts at multiple locations.
ASAP Security Services has experienced manufacturer certified technicians to service and support most access control systems in use today. Currently, ASAP Security Services sells and services: RS2, Bosch, Nexwatch, and Northern, to name a few.
Access Control Systems are comprised of the following:
- Biometric Readers (i.e. fingerprint or retina scanners)
- Access Cards, Proximity Cards, HID Cards
- Keyless or Door Entry Systems
- Swipe Card Security Systems
- Gate Lock Security Systems
